President+visits+Uganda

President Mahinda Rajapaksa left the island last night on a 4 day official visit to Uganda.

 

The President is due to hold discussions with his Ugandan counterpart Yoweri Musaweni.

 

The President’s spokesperson stated that President Mahinda Rajapaksa would also participate at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Local Government Summit.

 

The President is also expected to visit the Masuleeta Vocational Training institute and the Uganda Sugar Company.
