School Vans in a tug of war over color

The All Island School Children's Transport Association states that it will protest against the decision taken by the government to color school vans in yellow from next year.


Speaking at a press conference held yesterday in Colombo the chairman of the All Island School Children's Transport Association Malshri De Silva stated that the president needs to intervene and provide a solution to this.


Speaking further he stated that if no solution is granted the All Island School Children's Transport Association will enter into a trade union action after the 11th of June.


However, the secretary of the he All-island Inter-District School Transport Services Union Kithsiri Amarasinghe stated that his association will not be entering into a trade union action.
