Suspicion arises regarding Minister Wimal Weerawansa

The Bodhu Bala Sena Organization today challenged Minister Wimal Weerawansa to prove if the Bodhu Bala Sena had received funds from either Norway or any Non Governmental Organization.


Venerable Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thero made this challenge in reply to a statement made by Minister Wimal Weerawansa in Lindula-Thalawakele recently.


Speaking at a media briefing which was held in Colombo today Venerable Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thero accused Minister Wimal Weerawansa of maintaining contacts with India’s ‘Shiv Sena Organization’ an extremist Hindu Faction according to analysts.


Minister Wimal Weerawansa earlier this week accused a Buddhist organization with an anti Islamic approach of having maintained contact with the Tamil diaspora.




The following are views expressed by Venerable Galagodaaththe Gnanasra Thero who spoke at a media briefing which was held in Colombo today.




Speaking further Venerable Gnanasara noted that he had become suspicious of Minister Wimal Weerawansa.
