Government scared of Northern elections; says UNP.

The UNP states that the government is scared of the Northern Provincial Council election.


Speaking at a press conference held in Colombo today, UNP General Secretary Parliamentarian Thissa Attanayaka stated that the government is using various ploys to postpone the election.




Meanwhile, speaking at a press conference held today in Colombo the convener of the Ravana Balaya Organization Venerable Iththakande Saddathissa thero states that the provincial councils should be dissolved while expressing his views regarding the election in the North.
