Gamunu wants impartial inquiry on today's bus strike

Chairman of the Lanka Private Bus Owners Association Gamunu Wijerathna has urged an impartial inquiry into today’s bus strike.

 

Speaking during a media briefing held today Wijerathna stated that today’s bus strike which was partly launched by the All Island Private Bus Owners Associations Federation conveyed signs of a conspiracy.

 

 

Meanwhile Stanly Fernando Chairman of the All Island Private Bus Owners Associations Federation added that today bus strike was a success.

 

 

Chairman of the National Transportation Commission Roshan Gunawardhana asserted that steps would be taken to cancel the route permits of buses which engaged in today’s strike.

 

According to Gunawardhana these bus have already been identified.
