If the Baratha Janatha Party comes back for a third term in Madhya Pradesh, the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government will construct a temple for goddess Sita in Sri Lanka.

The state BJP gathered for a three-day conclave in Gwalior to plan and strategize its election campaign and management in the next five months.

Speaking to a large gathering of the party's grassroots level conveners and polling booth managers on chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan unveiled his developmental blueprint for the next five years.

It was proposed to construct the temple at Divurumpola, which the Sri Lankan government claims to be the site where Sita underwent the fire test'' to prove her purity.
