New Zealand Foreign Affairs Minister Murray McCully arrived in the island last night.
A New Zealand Foreign Affairs Ministry statement said in Sri Lanka, the Minister is expected to discuss the country's hosting of the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting in November, as well as prospects for New Zealand's dairy trade.
McCully will also meet the ministers of External Affairs and Economic Development to discuss Sri Lanka's progress in reconciliation.
Meanwhile Deputy Leader of the Indian Rajya Saba Ravi Shankar Prasad and 6 representatives of the BJP party also arrived in the Island last night.
The Indian delegation is expected to meet President Mahinda Rajapakse, Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapakse and several high ranking officials of the government.
