Sri Lanka and 5 other Asian and African countries have showed their displeasure over the decision to charge 3 thousand sterling pound cash bond from each visitor when citizen of these countries enter the United Kingdom.

 

Several Organizations representing the Indian business community pointed out that this scheme is a grave discrimination against the people in these counties.

 

Many of them, through different social media including Twitter and Face book lobbied their protest against the UK move which is scheduled to come to effect from November this year.

 

Visitors from Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria and Ghana will be affected by the new UK immigration regulation.

 

Social media commentaters also suggest that these countries should charge a reciprocal bond from British citizens when they enter the affected countries.
