The ministry of cultural affairs have turned its attention towards creating a code of ethics system for politicians.

 

Speaking to our news team, subject minister T. B. Ekanayaka stated that the ministry plans to present this proposal to the government in the near future.

 

 

There were many instances reported recently where public representatives have inconvenienced the public.

 

The ministry of cultural affairs has decided to present this code of ethics as a result of that.

 

However, our news team questioned the minister regarding the practicality of presenting such code of ethics to politicians and Minister Ekanayaka made the following statement in that regard.
