Human skull and bone fragments discovered during dengue prevention campaign

A skull as well as several other bone fragments were discovered during a dengue prevention campaign which was carried out in the Kohuwala Sri Maha Vihara Mawatha this morning.

 

The remains were discovered while dumped in a drain during a dengue prevention campaign which was launched by the Dehiwala, Mt. Lavinia Municipal Council.

 

According to the Kohuwala Police investigations are underway to determine if the remains were dumped at the location by a certain party or individual.

 

The remains were discovered by a laborer who was operating under the supervision of Labour Supervisor of the Dehiwala, Mt.Lavinia Municipal Council A.K. Withanage.
