Another school term test blunder reported today.

Teachers Unions charge that the Buddhism question papers given to year 8 and 9 students of the Piliyandala Education Circuit carry nearly 20 spelling mistakes.


Secretary of the Lanka Teachers Union Joseph Starlin said that the Buddhism paper given to year 10 and 11 students for the 2nd term test of the same education division has also carried spelling mistakes.




When our news team contacted the Piliyandala Education Circuit, its director J.A. Ranjith had this to say.




Several complaints regarding the blunders of school term test question papers were reported during the last few days.


Among them was an incident where question papers were distributed along with the respective answers in the North Central Province yesterday.


Our news team earlier contacted Minister of Education Bandula Gunawardana to comment on the problems with regard to school term test question papers.
