The country's heritage cannot be allowed the perish - says Defense Secretary

Defense secretary Gotabaya Rajapakse states that there are many human rights that are safeguarded by Buddhism and Sinhalese traditions than those in countries that are accusing Sri Lanka about human rights violations.

He made this statement while speaking at a function held in the Sri Jayantharama temple in Neluwa – Galle.


Speaking further the defense secretary also stated the qualities and good traditions of the country cannot be allowed to be destroyed.
