International+forces+should+be+convinced+that+the+government+is+strong+-+External+Affairs+Minister+says

Addressing a meeting held at Madampe in Chillaw, External Affairs Minister Professor G.L. Peris said that the country was able to save a lot of money which was earlier spent on war.

 

He said that the LTTE Tamil Diaspora is trying to drain these savings to the hands of certain leaders of other countries.

He also said that the answer to the allegations made by certain countries on human rights violation is to strengthen the government.
