President to attend business forum in Belarus

President Mahinda Rajapaksa will lead a business delegation to Belarus later this month to participate in the Belarus-Sri Lanka business forum organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.


The Belarus-Sri Lanka business forum and a Business to Business meeting with Sri Lankan businessmen, accompanying the President during his visit to Belarus will be held in at the National library of Belarus in Minsk on the 26th of August, 2013.


The Chamber said Sri Lankan companies are interested in establishing business contacts with the Belarusian enterprises and organizations operating in a number of areas including agricultural products of tea, spices, fruits and vegetables, ayurvedic goods, tourism and accommodation business, freight, logistics, legal, insurance and banking services.
