The United Nations human rights Commissioner Navi Pillay states that she will be open minded ahead of her first trip to Sri Lanka.
Speaking to the Reuters News Service she has stated that she will not be pre-judging anything.
The UN Human Rights Chief is scheduled to arrive in the Island tomorrow during which she has stated that she will be paying close attention to the reconciliation achieved by Sri Lanka.
The United Nations human rights Commissioner Navi Pillay has stated that she hopes to make an unbiased statement regarding the situation in Sri Lanka following the conclusion of her visit.
Meanwhile, Pakistani Premier Nawaz Sharif states that Pakistan will continue to support Sri Lanka in International Forums.
The Pakistani Premier made this statement after the Sri Lankan External Affairs Minister Prof. G. L. Peiris presented the official invitation for the CHOGM summit to Prime Minister Sharif.
In addition the Pakistani Prime Minister had also expressed his pleasure at the post war development and reconciliation that Sri Lanka has achieved thus far.
