Second Advance Visit Teams in Sri Lanka ahead of CHOGM 2013

The program with regard to the second advance visit teams for the CHOGM summit got underway in Colombo today.


Approximately 80 representatives from 14 countries are taking part in the second advance visit ahead of the CHOGM summit scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka in November.


The opening session was chaired by the Monitoring MP of the Ministry of External Affairs Sajin De Vass Gunawardena.


The opening session was also attended by the secretary of the ministry of external affairs Karunathilaka Amunugama, the Sri Lankan High Commissioner in the UK Dr. Chris Nonis and several other officials of the CHOGM 2013 task force and Ministry of External Affairs.
