US concerned about government s future actions regarding reconciliation

The United States stressed yesterday that it is concerned about the Sri Lankan government future actions regarding reconciliation and responsibility.

 

Nisha Desai Biswal who was named by US President Barak Obama as US Assistant State Secretary for South Asian Affairs told the Senate that the Lankan government should adopt a home grown mechanism to achieve this goal.

 

She said however America is prepared to seek an international action if the Lankan government fails to respond optimistically.
