The UNP asks the police to reveal the identity of the pistol that shot bullets at the incident in Matara.

During a media briefing held in Colombo today, UNP General Secretary MP Tissa Attanayake said that the police should take immediate action to arrest the suspects who launched an attack on the party supporters in Devinuwara.

The discussion scheduled to be held among UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe, MPs Karu Jayasuriya and Sajith Premadasa on the proportion of the proposed Leadership Board has been postponed to next week.

Our parliament correspondent said that this decision was taken at the UNP Parliamentarians Group Meeting held at the Parliamentary Complex today.

Earlier this meeting was scheduled to be held on Thursday.

After MP Sajith Premadasa informed his inability to participate in the meeting, the meeting has been postponed to next week.
