Illegal stock of cigarettes seized in Chilaw

The police were able to arrest an individual possessing an illegal stock of cigarettes from the Chilaw - Kurusapaduwa – Wella area.

The police spokesperson stated that the individual possessed 84 cartons each containing 200 cigarettes.

The suspect is a resident of the area and is to be produced before the Chilaw Magistrate court today. .
