Lanka Private Bus Operators Association has agreed to the seven per cent bus fair revision with effect from November 01st as approved by the Cabinet.

Chairman of the association Gamunu Wijerathne stated that they took this decision following the executive committee meeting held today.

 

Gamunu Wijrathne requested the cabinet to implement the bus fare amendment from the 15th of this month.

 

However secretary of the Lanka private bus owners federation Anjana Priyanjith rejects the percentage increase of the bus fare.
