However, a decision has been taken to appoint Peshala Jayarathne as the food, cooperative and industries minister of the province.

The senior member of the office of the governor of the North Central Province further stated that Peshala Jayarathne was issued a letter today to be present to be sworn in.

Our news team contacted the chief minister of the North Central Province S. M. Ranjith to inquire regarding the changing of provincial ministerial posts.
