Gang of robbers break into Anuradhapura state bank

According to the police, a gang of robbers have broken into a state bank near Anuradhapura bus halt this morning.


The police suspect their motive may have been to steal cash and jewellery.


However, the robbers’ failed to break open the vault or take money from the ATM machine.


Police investigations are underway in search of the suspects.
