Former LTTE leader Prabhakaran's private secretary jailed.

The Colombo High Court passed 2 months rigorous imprisonment on former LTTE Leader Velupillai Prabhakaran’s Private Secretary and close associate Thana-balasingham Lingadasa today.


High Court judge Kumuduni Wickramasinghe ordered to send the convict for another 2 months rehabilitation program after he completes the jail sentence.


The Attorney General had indicted Thana-balasingham Lingadasa on several charges including obtaining a special training to handle firearms and weaponry during his membership with the LTTE.


The Judge stated that the former LTTE member was given a trivial jail sentence after he pleaded guilty.
