Video : British High Commissioner urges Indian Premier to take part in CHOGM

British High Commissioner to India James Bevan states that it is Britain’s hope that India will take part in the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka.


Taking part in an interview with IBN Live yesterday, he stated that India is a major part of the Commonwealth and that India’s participation in CHOGM is very important.


British Premier David Cameron is also keen to see his Indian counterpart in Sri Lanka.


However, speaking further, High Commissioner James Bevan stated that the decision lies with the Indian government.
