Police officers son who caused a death on the yellow line to court today.

Mt. Lavinia headquarter police inspector’s son who was the driver of the vehicle arrested in connection with the accident that took place on the yellow line in Alubomulla in Panadura is scheduled to be produced before the Panadura magistrate today.


A pedestrian crossing the yellow line was killed due to collision against a van proceeding from Panadura towards Bandaragama last afternoon.


While a 54-year old person was thus killed, a 14-year old schoolgirl also sustained injuries in this accident.
