Channel Four journalists who have come to the island to cover CHOGM requested for an opportunity to meet President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

 

That was at the time the President was leaving the venue of the Business Conference at the end of the inauguration of the business confab that began in Colombo.

 

On this occasion Channel Four journalist Jonathan Miller asked the President with regard to allegations made about war crimes.

 

On this occasion the President said that he did not get perturbed about certain matters stated in relevant to them.

 

Subsequently the Channel Four journalist asked whether he could meet the President.

 

In response to this the President said that at any time he could address his office and have a time fixed for it.
