UNP presents the government 3 proposals

The UNP presents 3 proposals to the government and asks the government to implement them after the CHOGM.


During a media briefing held in Colombo this morning, UNP MP Mangala Samaraweera announced the proposals.


The 3 new proposals are: To annul the18th Amendment to the Constitution, to pass a draft bill to ensure the right to information and to hold an independent inquiry on certain allegations against the security forces thereby clear the name of the Armed Forces.
