British Prime Minister David Cameron who arrived in Sri lanka to participate in the CHOGM is now touring in Jaffna.

 

Prime Minister Cameron met Northern Provincial Chief Minister C.V. Wigneswaran at the Jaffna Library and joined an inspection tour in the Udhayan Newspaper office in Jaffna.

 

Our correspondent said that a group of relatives of missing persons staged a protest in front of the Library requesting the British Premier to find the whereabouts of their missing relatives.

 

Our correspondent also said that Prime Minister Cameron is scheduled to tour in the Valikamam area in the evening.

 

Meanwhile Prince Charles who arrived in the island for the CHOGM has joined an inspection tour in the Colombo National Museum.

 

However, after the meeting, the British Prime Minister went to the Udhayan newspaper office in Jaffna and has had a chat with its owner and TNA MP E. Saravanabavan.

 

Later Prime Minister David Cameron went to inspect the Sabhapathipillai Welfare Camp in Chunnakam.

 

The visiting British media crew including a journalist attached to the Channel 4 joined the Prime Minister to visit the Welfare Camp

.

A group of relatives of missing persons has handed over the Channel 4 journalist a petition when the journalists arrived at the Welfare Camp.

British Prime Minister David Cameron who arrived here to participate in the CHOGM is now touring in Jaffna.
