The Commonwealth has said that there are no divisions between Sinhalese and Tamils.

 

Commonwealth Media Spokesperson Richard Uku speaking at a media briefing that was held yesterday in Colombo stated that he was satisfied with the development drive taking place in Sri Lanka.

 

A media briefing had been called yesterday to create awareness regarding matters discussed during the commonwealth executive sessions yesterday.

 

Channel 4 reporters who were also present at the briefing raised questions regarding Sri Lanka from Richard Uku.

 

However, Parliamentarian A S M Azwar who was also at the briefing questioned as to why the Channel 4 fail to probe incidents such as the Kebithigollawa incident.
