Minister Nimal Siripala De Silva states that Britain alone cannot take a decision against Sri Lanka while speaking during a press conference held today at the CHOGM media centre at the BMICH.
British Premier David Cameron had also called a press conference this morning during which he stated that if Sri Lanka are unable to conduct an internal inquiry regarding the closing stages of the war in Sri Lanka, he would give his fullest support to an international inquiry.
Minister Nimal Siripala De Silva responded to the remarks of the British of Premier during the press conference to which Keheliya Rambukwella, Anura Priyadarshana Yapa and Douglas Devananda also took part.
Minister Nimal Siri Pala desilva stated that Britain alone cannot take a decision and Sri lanka has done enough to address the issues and would face any challenge successfully.
Meanwhile, British Premier David Cameron also met with champion off spinner Muttaiah Muralitharan this morning.
The British Prime Minister who arrived in the country to take part in the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting yesterday morning left the island at approximately 1pm this afternoon.
