Video: Reduce prices of consumer goods - Senior Ministers request - Budget-2014

Several Ministers who represent left-winged coalition parties made a request today to reduce the prices of consumer goods in the forthcoming budget.


Addressing a media briefing in Colombo today, Coalition party leaders and Senior Ministers Tissa Vitharana, Dew Gunasekera and Minister Wasudeva Nanayakkara made this request.


Senior Minister Tissa Vitharana addressing the media said that the prices of essential goods should be reduced.


In addition, Senior Minister Dew Gunasekera said that the tax on the Middle Class people should be increased.
