A body of a murdered woman buried 3 years ago in Piliyandala exhumed.

The body of a woman murdered 3 years ago is exhumed at Vijitha-pura Makandana in Piliyandala before Kesbewa Chief Magistrate Chamath Madanayake this morning.


The victim’s husband was remanded after he was produced before the Kesbewa Magistrate yesterday.


47-year old Shakila Perera, a resident of Vijithapura Makandara was allegedly murdered on the 21st of April in 2010.


Shakila Perera who had lived earlier in Italy had been married with 2 children.


Later she got married to the second husband who has allegedly murdered her later.
