Sri Lankans will be able to view the brightest ‘comet of the century’ - ‘Ison’ during the wee hours from tomorrow.

The Ison will appear clearly over the horizon of the East between 4am to 5am.

The Sri Lanka Planetarium asked the public not to gaze the comet directly with the naked eye as it is reaching close to the sun.

The comet was discovered by a pair of amateur Russian astronomers in September 2012.
