British National Kuram Sheikh Murder case to be heard on December 2nd.

The case in connection with the murder of a British national and sexually abusing his female partner at a tourist resort in Tangalle will be taken for trial on the 2nd of December.

The 6 accused of the case including Tangalle Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman Sampath Vidana Pathirana appeared before Colombo High Court Judge Kumuduni Wickramasinghe today.

The indictment of 17 charges filed by the Attorney General was read out before the accused in open court today, and the accused said that they were innocent against all the charges.

Our Court correspondent said that the respondents were released on previous bail.

However the Court ordered the police to obtain finger prints of the respondents.

A British national Khuram Shaikh and his Russian female partner were the victims of this incident took place at a tourist resort at Madilla Tangalle in 2011.
