Govt to collect 28 billion rupees through next year's budget - UNP

The UNP says that the government will collect 28 billion rupees from the people through next year’s budget.

UNP MP Dr. Harsha de Silva disclosed this information during a media briefing held in Colombo this morning.

Meanwhile JVP MP Anura Kumara Dissanayake told a media briefing held in Colombo today that the new budget is confined to take loans and pay back them.

He also said that all expenditure in the next year will depend on borrowings.
