Nine killed, over 40 injured in Karachi twin blasts.

Twin blasts near a roadside tea stall killed at least 7 people and injured more than 40 in Ancholi area of the city.


Eye witnesses said two blasts occurred in the area near a tea stall and a milk shop, injuring over 40 people who were rushed to different hospitals.


Medics say seven of the injured succumbed to their wounds in the hospital. They said that women and children were also among the injured.


Rescue teams and heavy contingent of police and Rangers also rushed to the spot while the Bomb Disposal Squad was also called in.
