Police vigilant about LTTE terrorist's commemorations.

The police say that there is no legal provision for holding any commemorative function in view of LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhaaharan’s birthday which is tomorrow.

In addition various reports said that arrangements had been made also to hold on 27th November a function reminiscing the dead LTTE cadres.

Reports say that these particulars are disclosed on LTTE-friendly websites as well.

Our news team inquired about this from police media spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana.

In response to this, the police media spokesman said that if action was taken to hold such a conference or meeting, legal action would be taken against it.
