A case filed by Minister Wasu against SLTB.

National Languages and Social Integration Minister Vaasudeva Naanayakkaara said that from next month court cases would be filed against the SLTB according to the trilingual policy implemented by the Government.

In response to a query by our news team, the Minister said that this decision was taken because destination boards displayed in SLTB buses were not in all three languages.

Our news team inquired from SLTB Vice Chairman L. A. Wimalaratne about the allegation leveled against the SLTB.

Vice Chairman stated that all deport have been instructed to display the name boards in all 3 languages.
