A man arrested for burglary

Mirihana Special Crime Operation Unit arrested a man yesterday who is alleged to have broken into flats in nudity, and stolen gold jewellery and money.

He was arrested as a suspect of the murder of a woman in Boralesgamuwa area on 21st of March following investigations on the case.

It has been revealed that the man has broken into houses in Mount Lavinia, Colpetty, Bambalapitiya and Dehiwala and stolen valuables.

The suspect is a 33 year old resident from Embilipitiya who was residing in Kelaniya area temporarily.
