UNP leadership council gets a red light from Range Bandara - Green Light from Ashok Abesingha.

UNP MP Palitha Range Bandara said that he would not see the Party Leadership Council today.

He told our news team that he was informed over the phone to see the Leadership Council yesterday but as he had already fixed up his personal affairs, he decided not to call for the Council today.

Meanwhile UNP MP Ashok Abeysinghe told our news team that he would call for the Leadership Council today.

UNP MP Karu Jayasuriya will chair the UNP Leadership Council which is scheduled to meet at the parliament complex this morning.
