Video: A harsh speech by Minister Dilan to those who commemorate Prabhakaran

Tamil National Alliance parliamentarian M. A. Sumandiran today stated in parliament that it is the right of relatives to remember and commemorate those who have died.

MP Sumandiran made this statement while speaking during the 2nd reading of the 2014 budget.

As MP Sumandiran was commenting regarding the Mahaviru commemoration, a tense situation arose in parliament with government MPs disrupting his speech.

However, speaking subsequently Minister of Foreign Employment Promotion and Welfare Dilan Perera severely criticized the Mahaviru day commemoration.
