Joining the second day of the committee stage debate, chief government whip minister Dinesh Gunawardana once again paid tribute to President Mahinda Rajapakse and the three armed forces for eradicating terrorism.

Minister Dinesh Gunawardana questioned in parliament as to why the TNA is silent at a time when Tamilnadu is harassing northern fishermen.

Minister Dinesh Gunawardana ponted out that the TNA does not have a firm stand and the UNP is hanging on to the tale of the TNA.

The statement was made while criticizing certain statements made by UNP MP Mangala Samaraweera.
