Six Lankan fishermen arrested

Six Sri Lankan nationals have been arrested and their boat seized by the Indian Coast Guard off Andhra Pradesh coast for allegedly illegally entering and fishing in Indian waters.

The arrest that happened yesterday took the total number of Lankan fishermen taken into custody for illegally entering and fishing in Indian waters in the last 10 days to 56.

According to PTI The incident is the latest in the series of arrests of Lankan fishermen by Indian Coast Guard for illegally entering and fishing in Indian waters.
