The met department states that the low pressure area is now located to the South-east of Sri-Lanka.

Under the influence of it, showers or thundershowers will occur over most parts of the country and the suburb sea areas.

Heavy falls about 100 mili meters are also likely at some places.

Windy conditions are also expected to continue over the country particularly eastern slopes of the central hills and the suburb sea areas.
