Sea from Galle to Jaffna across Batticaloa turns rough. Warning to fishermen.

The met department states that the low pressure area still persists and located to the South-east of Sri-Lanka.

Under the influence of the system, there will be intermittent showers or thundershowers in the sea areas off the coast extending from Galle to Jaffna via Batticaloa.

Duty Meteorologist Anusha Warnakulasooriya said Showers or thundershowers will develop at several places elsewhere in the sea areas around the island too.
