Video: Hiru TV media sponsored exposition commenced today at the Sri Deepa-duttaarama Ancient Thai temple

The Hiru TV media sponsored exposition of Sacred Kapilavasthu Relics started today at the Sri Deepa-duttaarama Ancient Thai temple in Kotahena.

After President Mahinda Rajapaksa placed the urn of the sacred relics in the casket and paid floral tributes before the exposition was declared open for the public.

The public exposition of the Kapilavasthu sacred relics will be held until the 7th of this month from 6am to 11pm.

Waskaduwe Rajaguru Sri Subhoothi Nayake Thera received this sacred relics from Kapilavasthupura in 1898.

Meanwhile President Rajapaksa engaged in a conversation with a group of relics worshippers at the temple premises.
