Heads of expenditure of the Ministries of Justice, Rehabilitation and Prison Reforms and External Affairs were approved in Parliament with amendment yesterday which was the 6th day of the budget committee stage debate.

Minister of External Affairs Prof G L Peiris stated that the country’s sovereignty cannot be put at stake for the sake of stopping UN Resolutions.
