Video : Tense situation in Manikhinna

A tense situation erupted at ManikHinna town in Kandy after vehicle users found that a certain filling station had pumped fuel mixed with water this morning.

Owners who purchased fuel for their vehicles from this filling station said that their vehicles had developed technical faults.

When our news team contacted the management of the particular fuel station, one of its officers said that they obtained the substandard gasoline from a bow-ser belonging to the Petroleum Corporation.

Our news team also contacted Petroleum Corporation Chairman Susantha de Silva and he said that an investigation with regard to the incident has already been initiated.
