A group of Kelaniya Pradeshiya Sabha members vows that they would not allow Minister Mervyn Silva to return to the post of SLFP Chief Organizer of Kelaniya electorate.

12 UPFA members of the Kelaniya Pradeshiya Sabha led by its Chairman organized a media briefing at their office auditorium today.

Deputy Chairman Chamila Duminda said that Minister Mervyn Silva should be held responsible for the defeat of UPFA controlled local government institutions’ budgets.

 However addressing a ceremony held at Sinhara Mulla in Kelaniya yesterday, Public Relations and Public Affairs Minister Mervyn Silva said that his waiting time was over.

He also said that he would take action to begin his work-plan in Kelaniya very soon.
