Question paper of a school in Peradeniya sold for 22,000 Rupees

The Police arrested a person for selling the aptitude test paper given for enrolling students for Grade 6 at Ranabima Royal College, Peradeniya for 22,000 rupees yesterday.

The paper was sold at a tailor shop at Uda-Peradeniya, along Kandy Road and the owner of the shop has been taken into custody along with the test papers.

The examination was due to be held tomorrow.

The Police have confirmed that these papers were same as the original exam papers following comparison.

Following the incident, the Central Province Education Director Thilak Ekanayake has taken measures to withhold the aptitude test which was due tomorrow, for enrolling students to Grade 6 at Ranabima Royal College.
